I really liked how he let Goku take some free shots at him due to Chiaotzu/Shen's interference in their match at the 22nd World Tournament. I also like how he seems willing and ready to sacrifice his life against far superior opponents for the good of the Earth. First when he decided to master the Evil Containment Wave and fight King Piccolo (when he thought Goku was dead), then when he goes all-out against Nappa with the Tri-Beam, then when he charges in (with two Super Saiyans and Piccolo) to fight 17 and 18, then when he stops Semi-Perfect Cell from absorbing Android 18, and finally again when he saves Dende and Mr Satan from Super Buu. Tien is also notable for being the first true redemption in the series. Yamcha and Krillin were "redeemed" in a sense, but they were both originally more selfish than evil. On the other hand, Tien was essentially raised and trained by murderers (Mercenary Tao and Crane Hermit). He is originally ruthless and training to be an assassin, but eventually becomes one of the most selfless and honorable characters in the series.

Because Gohan changes alot as he gets older. For me, i liked kid Gohan when he beat Cell more than when he became a teenager in high school. My favorite is Goku, but only adult Goku not kid Goku lol jk

Favourite Manga dat boi	Well, yeah, I can understand that, but if you really love a character you should look at them as a whole instead of just one period of their life. That's just my opinion, though.

I would say Piccolo wins just because I liked him the absolute best when I was younger and DBZ was on Cartoon Network. To be honest though, I really like ALL of the characters. The entire franchise (excluding GT) is just really charming.
